i just realized something. there are always very good portions in my life of a week or two or three, and out of nowhere i’ll fall into this lapse where i only want to sleep and become depressed (i’m using depressed but i don’t think it’s really depression), have no motivation for anything at all…

this shoot was different from many of my others. usually i have an initial idea about my photos mapped out days before, with props and clothes and a sort of meaning. this was more of a photo of just what we were doing, “hey we broke open glowsticks everywhere”. i experimented with different sorts of poses and it ended up working if we laid on the ground because we couldn’t really stay still long enough for the slow shutter speed in any other position. this is a captured moment of one of the best things we’ve ever done, that’s all.
